How to Get Your Articles Read

6 Hot Tips to Get your Articles Read —
Article writing requires a some amount of effort and time on your part. If no one is reading them, it is a waste of time and effort. Here are six tips to get your articles read and enjoyed by others.
1) Use short paragraphs
Long paragraphs can make your article difficult to read. Keep each paragraph short. 3-5 sentences should suffice. In fact, a paragraph can be a single sentence or even a single word!
2) Make use of numbers or bullets
Numbers and bullets can make it easy for readers to digest the information. Format you bullets and numbers with indentations so that your article won’t look like a single block of square paragraphs.
3) Use sub-heading
Use sub-heading to grab readers attention. This can also help connect the paragraphs and make it easy for the reader to move on from one point to another; the transition would be smooth and easy.
4) Use a good attention-grabbing title
If your title can entice a person’s curiosity, you’re already halfway in getting a person to read your article. Use titles like ‘Tips on making her want you more’ or ‘How to make her swoon and blush’.
5) Keep them interested from the start to the finish
From your opening paragraph, use real life situations that can be relate by the reader. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point but don’t over do it. Use of graphic metaphors and similes would make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about. Make the experience pleasurable and enjoyable for them.
6) Utilize figures when necessary
Using specific facts and figures can heighten your article because they make the article looks authoritative. But do not make it too formal. The content should still be light and easy for your readers.

Increase Your Article Marketing Effectiveness in 4 Easy Steps
November 14, 2009 by Scott Mosteller · Comments
This was written by Stephen Chua.
A well-written article can drive significant of targeted traffic to your site. It will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. Here are 4 factors that can affect your article effectiveness.
1- Keywords and Keyword Phrases.
An article must should be centered on one main keyword and keyword phrase. This serves as the main theme of your article.
Besides the main keyword or phrase, there should be 3-5 secondary key-phrases related to the main keywords. This gives your article more room to expand without deviating from the main theme.
For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you have articles about cars and their parts. The main keyword will probably be ‘auto parts’. The secondary keywords could be ‘cheap auto parts’, ‘original auto parts’ and ‘Honda auto parts’.
There are many free keyword research tools online you can use online to do this. Here is one that is free:
Nichebot Classics
2 – Keyword Density
Although this factor has been de-emphasized over the last few years, it can still help your article rank well in the search engines.
Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density
that is not too high or too low. Too high, the article will lose its naturality. Too low, the search engines may ignore it.
A 3-5% density should be good enough. This number is not cast in stone and should be tested.
3 – Good Article Content
Even though keywords are important, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must be reader-friendly. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good and relevant information. Correct spelling and good grammar is also important.
People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to incorporate as many facts as you can in to your article. But do not over do it else your article may become meaningless. It is just a number-filled article that no one understands.
4 – Good resource box with a valid link
If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, remember to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.
Even better, offer a free report or bonus in the resource box so that more people will click through to your site to get the bonus. Make sure you have an opt-in form ready to capture these visitors’ name and email address.
If not, you can sign up with any of the following autoresonder service:
Article Marketing is a great way to increase your traffic to your site.
Enjoy
Both will provide you with the instructions and codes to create your own opt-in forms.

Blowing $1,000 on “Free Leads” ???
November 11, 2009 by Scott Mosteller · Comments
This article was written by Ray Fong and Ferny Ceballos of SEO Networker
The very first time we attempted to generate our own leads was using Google Adwords and bidding on a bunch of MLM keywords.
We didn’t know what we were doing and spent nearly $1,000 to make measly $60 bucks – OUCH!
What happened to generating “FREE Leads” with Google AdWords?
Well, they forgot to tell you that it’s only free if you get them to convert. So while you see lots of promises of “free leads” with Google AdWords, the truth is that every click on your ad to create a visitor to your website will cost you money!
Even if they never subscribe to your newsletter or join your business – you still got to pay Google. So how can folks claim it to be “free leads”?
Well, if some of the visitors to your website, subscribe to your email newsletter and purchase something – the idea is to make more money from those sales, than you spent in AdWords.
But how many people can claim they got this right the first time? Or even the 10th or 20th time?
The fact is, for every person who manages to successfully produce sales to cover their cost in advertising, there are hundreds of others losing their shirts and raking up their credit cards on more dead beat leads.
You’re trying so hard to show your upline that the future of this industry is on the internet, yet you keep getting more broke…
Been there. Done that. Bought the t-shirt. Got the wrong size.
Fact – Average Networker Can’t Afford to Lose Money Advertising
Granted that any new venture will require you fronting some money to get good and to become profitable, but blowing thousands of dollars in unsuccessful advertising is beyond the financial capacity of most networkers.

You Can't afford aMarketing Blackhole ..
Most of us already got ourselves thousands in debt doing MLM the traditional way. And while it is worth it to push through and “crack the code” like we were able to do, sometimes it is simply not feasible for the average networker to risk thousands in advertising.
After a lot of money and more debt, we were fortunate to be one of the few who “got it”. You can’t imagine how good it felt to finally break even, after blowing $1,000 with almost no return our first time.
We were excited and used our profits to continue learning, experimenting with dozens of different traffic methods, finding success in some and scrapping the ones that sucked. And while there’s a lot of hype about “free traffic methods”, few of them produced very much traffic.
Yet, the methods we found to work great also carried a heavy financial risk (CPM, Banner Ads, Ezines, etc.) Mistakes would sideline most networkers who tried and many others just wouldn’t even try.
Ultimately, you are the only one responsible for your success and we are by no means offering excuses for those that gave up. This is YOUR Business!
However, as leaders it should be our duty to continue to break down walls and barriers to help those that come after as.
I personally blew way more than $1,000 on the “Free Traffic”

Spending More Marketing Dollars !?
October 22, 2009 by Scott Mosteller · Comments
Common Mistake #3: Bleeding Yourself Dry – Spending More Marketing Dollars than You can Afford
This problem of course ties into common mistake #2, but that’s only half the story.
The absolute truth is that most folks have absolutely no idea how to market online. They think that just by throwing money (that they really can’t afford) into blind advertising that, that’ll make it magically work in their favor.
A little while later reality sinks in as they deplete their entire marketing budget with nothing to show for it.
Like you, we’ve had our moments of heartaches at the beginning when we first started online. We had no idea what we were doing. We watched literally hundreds and thousands of our marketing dollars wasted as we struggled to grasp this “online marketing” thing…
Listen, it’s a cruel cruel world out there… Google and other companies are more than happy to charge you a **Stupid Tax** as the result of your ignorance and naivety. If you are able and willing to spend big dollars on marketing, you darn-well better know what you are doing and do everything you can to stack the odds in your favor and to mitigate your risks.
Fortunately, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is unique in that it results in very targeted traffic, cost you absolutely ZERO dollars in advertising, gives you the power to brand yourself as a leader (even if you haven’t sponsored a single person) and can provide you with an unlimited source of traffic.
